Riceviamo e volentieri pubblichiamo una riflessione della dott.ssa Giulia Lombardo (nella foto sopra al centro tra Francesco Ficchì e Francesco Coglitore) sulla sua esperienza come componente della Giuria Campus nella 50esima edizione del Fotogramma d’Oro Short Film Festival svoltosi dal 23 al 26 maggio 2018 a Messina.
INASPETTATI RISVEGLI
«Questo contributo nasce dalla voglia di raccontare la mia esperienza al Fotogramma d’Oro che è stato una spinta e uno stimolo all’avvicinarmi alla visione di un corto-medio-lungo metraggio come uno spunto personale di crescita interiore. La visione dei cortometraggi faceva risuonare in me alcuni aspetti silenti, a volte percepiti immediatamente come distanti dalla trama del film, ma che probabilmente davano solo a me quella percezione, nel modo unico e solo che abbiamo tutti noi di essere meravigliosamente diversi. Infatti il confronto con gli altri giurati, lo scambio di idee e di percezioni, resta una delle caratteristiche più entusiasmanti del Festival.
Tutto è nato dalla scelta del tirocinio pre-laurea, in cui ho optato per il Laboratorio Psicoanalitico Vicolo Cicala, visto il mio interesse nei confronti della psicoanalisi.
Le 200 ore previste si sono sviluppate con seminari e lezioni frontali molto interessanti e avvincenti, l’esperienza presso una Comunità e, tra queste ore, era prevista anche la partecipazione di noi tirocinanti presso il Fotogramma d’Oro. 
Sinceramente non ne avevo mai sentito parlare, ci spiegarono che era un festival di cortometraggi che si spostava in tutta Italia in base alla città di appartenenza del presidente e il nostro compito era quello di selezionare il corto che avrebbe vinto il premio della Giuria Campus, ovvero la giuria universitaria (nella foto in alto le altre componenti della Giuria, da sinistra Chiara Scarpino, Elena Lazaridou, Santina Nibali e Josè Gordelli). Ero un po’ preoccupata inizialmente perché le ore erano tante e sentivo addosso la responsabilità di consegnare un premio, mi sono detta che ce l’avrei messa tutta.
Il Festival si è svolto in quattro giornate, la mattina gli incontri con gli autori dei corti proiettati presenti al festival, il pomeriggio la visione dei corti, alla quale seguiva “la retrospettiva” nella quale venivano proiettati i corto-lungometraggi di Mauro Mingardi. Ci consegnarono una scheda con delle specifiche (ad esempio ritmo, sceneggiatura, attori) in cui noi dovevamo mettere un voto da 0 a 10. Durante il Festival mi resi conto del mio interesse e dell’entusiasmo che provavo nel guardare questi cortometraggi, era bello confrontarsi con gli altri membri della Giuria Campus, vedendo come, ognuno di noi, avesse avuto diverse emozioni, impressioni e opinioni. Ho provato una sensazione nuova, non riesco a definirla, mi perdevo in tutti questi corti che comunicavano e rimandavano a cose diverse, uno dopo l’altro, un susseguirsi e mischiarsi di sensazioni continue che lasciavano un “retrogusto” e si univano all’altra emozione che nasceva con l’altro corto. Mi resi conto che ogni corto attivava in me aspetti ed emozioni differenti, e, inoltre, valutando i corti durante il festival, mi sono rimaste impresse delle immagini e dei contenuti che, ancora oggi, riecheggiano in me, mentre altri passavano sottotono, come se avvenisse una sorta di “selezione naturale soggettiva” delle proiezioni.
La sera prima della votazione noi membri della giuria ci siamo resi conto che nella prima
giornata avevamo dato dei voti che avremmo voluto cambiare vedendo anche gli altri corti e così ne parlammo con Francesco Coglitore (presidente dell’organizzazione), Francesco, persona disponibilissima, sensibile e appassionata, sorridendo alla nostra richiesta e contento del nostro impegno, ci disse che avremmo potuto rivedere e sistemare le nostre votazioni.
L’ultima sera, in seguito alla premiazione andammo a fare un rinfresco, al quale parteciparono anche gli autori, fu la ciliegina sulla torta, rese la mia esperienza presso il Fotogramma d’Oro un’ulteriore esperienza di scambio con autori stranieri, con l’interesse reciproco di comunicare, di scambiarsi opinioni nonostante qualche difficoltà nella lingua.
Per me l’esperienza al Fotogramma d’Oro è stata arricchente e unica, ho conosciuto persone splendide e ha contribuito a rendere il mio tirocinio formativo a 360°, tant’è che Francesco mi ha permesso di fare parte dello staff del Fotogramma d’Oro e ho anche scelto di fare il mio tirocinio post-laurea di nuovo presso il Laboratorio Psicoanalitico Vicolo Cicala che, a mio avviso, si avvale di professionisti appassionati che accolgono noi studenti con un atteggiamento per me nuovo, non giudicante e sensibile ai nostri interessi, opinioni e modi di essere».
Anche per l’edizione 2019 è prevista la presenza, oltre alla Giuria ufficiale, della Giuria Campus, composta da tirocinanti del laboratorio psicoanalitico “Vicolo Cicala” e da studenti che frequentano i corsi di studio istituiti presso l’Università degli Studi di Messina. Infatti in forza di una convenzione sottoscritta già dall’anno scorso con l’Ateneo peloritano, gli studenti interessati, a seguito di appositi avvisi che saranno pubblicati nei giorni a seguire, potranno proporre la propria candidatura per la frequenza del tirocinio come componenti della Commissione di selezione e della Giuria Campus.
Il termine ultimo per la presentazione dei corti scadrà il prossimo 4 febbraio.

UNEXPECTED RESOURCES
«This contribution comes from the desire to tell my experience at the Fotogramma d’Oro which was a push and a stimulus to approach the vision of a short-medium-length footage as a personal point of inner growth. The vision of the short films made some silent aspects resonate in me, sometimes perceived immediately as distant from the plot of the film, but that probably only gave me that perception, in the unique and only way that we all have to be wonderfully different. In fact, the comparison with the other jurors, the exchange of ideas and perceptions, remains one of the most exciting features of the Festival.
It all started with the choice of the pre-degree internship, in which I opted for the Vicolo Cicala Psychoanalytic Laboratory, given my interest in psychoanalysis.
The 200 hours foreseen were developed with very interesting and exciting seminars and lectures, the experience at a community and among these hours the participation of our trainees was also expected at the Fotogramma d’Oro.
Honestly I had never heard of it, we were explained that it was a short film festival that moved throughout Italy based on the city of the president and our task was to select the short film that would have won the Jury Prize Campus, or the University Jury (in the photo above the other members of the Jury, from the left Chiara Scarpino, Elena Lazaridou, Santina Nibali and Josè Gordelli). I was a little worried at first because the hours were so many and I felt the responsibility of delivering a prize, I told myself that I would have put it all.
The Festival took place over four days, in the morning the meetings with the authors of the short films screened at the festival, in the afternoon the vision of the short films, followed by “the retrospective” in which Mauro Mingardi’s short-feature films were projected. They gave us a card with specifications (for example rhythm, screenplay, actors) in which we had to give a vote from 0 to 10. During the Festival I realized my interest and the enthusiasm I felt in watching these shorts, it was nice to deal with the other members of the Campus Jury, to see how each of us had different emotions, impressions and opinions. I felt a new sensation, I can not define it, I lost myself in all these short films that communicated and sent back to different things, one after the other, a succession and mix of continuous sensations that left an “aftertaste” and joined the other emotion that was born with the previous one. I realized that each short film activated different aspects and emotions in me, and, moreover, evaluating the shorts during the festival, I was impressed by the images and contents that still echo in me, while others went subtly, as if there was a sort of “subjective natural selection” of the projections.
The evening before the vote the jury members realized that on the first day they had given votes that we would have liked to change after seeing the other short films and so we talked with Francesco Coglitore (president of the organization), Francesco, extremely available person, sensitive and passionate, smiling at our request and happy with our commitment, told us that we could review and adjust our votes.
The last night, after the award ceremony, we went to have a drink, which was also attended by the authors, that was the icing on the cake of my experience at the Golden Frame, a further exchange experience with foreign authors, with the mutual interest to communicate, to exchange opinions despite some difficulties in the language.
For me the experience at the Fotogramma d’Oro was enriching and unique, I met wonderful people and it helped to make my training internship at 360 °, so much so that Francesco allowed me to be part of the staff of the Fotogramma d’Oro and I have also chosen to do my post-graduate internship at the Vicolo Cicala Psychoanalytic Laboratory which, in my opinion, employs passionate professionals who welcome the students with an attitude that is new to me, non-judgmental and sensitive to our interests. opinions and ways of being ».
Also for the 2019 edition the presence, in addition to the official Jury, of the Campus Jury, composed by trainees of the “Vicolo Cicala” Psychoanalytic Laboratory and by students attending the study courses set up at the University of Messina, is foreseen. Indeed, by virtue of an agreement signed since last year with the University, the interested students, following specific notices that will be published in the following days, can propose their candidacy for the attendance of the internship as members of the selection and of the Campus Jury.
The deadline for the presentation of the short films will expire on 4th february 2019.
