Dal 22 al 25 maggio 2019 si svolgerà presso il Cinema Multisala Apollo di Messina la 51esima edizione del Fotogramma d’Oro Short Film Festival.
L’edizione 2019 sarà dedicata all’attore e regista messinese Adolfo Celi (nella foto in alto). Le numerosissime interpretazioni nel ruolo del “cattivo” lo hanno visto sul 
grande schermo in vari film tra cui “Agente 007 – Thunderball” accanto a Sean Connery, che gli diede notorietà internazionale (nella foto a destra), e in televisione nella mini serie “Sandokan”, nei panni di Lord James Brooke (nella foto sotto), accanto a Kabir Bedi e Philippe Leroy.
Un’altra memorabile interpretazione è stata quella del dr. Sassaroli in “Amici miei” (1975), 
Atto II (1982) e Atto III (1985) con la regia di Mario Monicelli, nei primi due film, e di Nanni Loy nel terzo (foto a destra).
Adolfo Celi ha curato anche la regia di tre film, tra i quali “L’alibi” (1969) in co-regia con Vittorio Gassman.
Tornando a parlare del Fotogramma d’Oro Short Film Festival, come per le edizioni precedenti, il bando non prevede un tema fisso, così da dare la possibilità agli autori interessati di partecipare, senza limiti di genere e tema, al Festival che, per definizione e per tradizione, vuole essere un punto di incontro e di confronto tra gli Autori sui temi della comunicazione attraverso le immagini.
A tal proposito, per questa edizione, è stato previsto anche un Premio speciale alla “Migliore opera realizzata con strumenti non convenzionali” quali lo smartphone, il tablet, droni, action cam, webcam e altro ancora.
Inoltre, il bando prevede l’assegnazione, tra i Premi ufficiali, del “Fotogramma d’Oro Trinakrios” al Migliore corto girato in Sicilia da autore nato in Sicilia e/o che vive ed opera in Sicilia. Premi speciali sono previsti per la Migliore opera prima e per la Migliore opera inedita.
È possibile partecipare al concorso sia inviando il modulo di iscrizione (APPFORM2019), seguendo le regole indicate nel bando sotto riportato (FOTORORULES2019), o attraverso le piattaforme internazionali come Filmfreeway, ClickForFestival ed altre.
La scadenza per l’iscrizione e l’invio delle opere è fissata per lunedì 4 febbraio 2019.
From the 22th to 25th of May 2019 will take place at the “Cinema Multisala Apollo” in Messina the 51st edition of the “Fotogramma d’Oro Short Film Festival”.
The 2019 edition will be dedicated to the actor and director Adolfo Celi (pictured above), born in Messina.
The numerous interpretations in the role of the “villain” have seen him on the big screen 
in various films including “007 – Thunderball” alongside Sean Connery, who gave him international notoriety (picture on the right), and on the serial TV “Sandokan”, in the shoes of Lord James Brooke (picture below), next to Kabir Bedi and Philippe Leroy.
Another memorable interpretation was Dr. Sassaroli in “Amici miei” (1975), Act II (1982) 
and Act III (1985) directed by Mario Monicelli, in the first two films, and directed by Nanni Loy in the third (picture on the right).

Back to the “Fotogramma d’Oro Short Film Festival” issue, as for previous editions, the notice does not include a fixed theme, in order to give to the interested authors the opportunity to participate without limits of genres and themes to the Festival that, by definition and tradition, wants to be a place of meeting and comparison between the authors on the themes of communication through the images.
In this respect, in this edition, will be assigned a special prize for the “best work done with unconventional tools” such as smartphones, tablets, drones, action cams, webcams and so on.
Moreover, the notice provides for the assignment, among the official prizes, of the “Fotogramma d’Oro Trinakrios” to the best short film shot in Sicily by an author born in Sicily and/or who lives and works in Sicily.
Special prizes are provided for the best “first work” and for the best “unpublished work”.
It’s possible to participate to the contest either by sending the submission form (APPFORM2019), following the rules as described by the notice below (FOTORORULES2019), or through the international platforms like Filmfreeway, Click for Festivals and others.
The deadline for registration and submission of works is February 4, 2019
